PAY OFFLINE FOR TRANSLATION SERVICES
(NOT RECOMMENDED)
I encourage you to pay me for my translation services by secure online transaction. It's the easiest way to pay, it's the quickest way to pay, and it's the safest way to pay. I also accept multiple currencies online: US Dollars (USD), Canadian Dollars (CAD), Euros (EUR), Pounds Sterling (GBP), and Japanese Yen (JPY).
However, if you prefer, you may pay me offline by bank money order or bank draft. When doing so, be sure to comply with the following instructions:
- Payee. Please make all bank money orders and bank drafts payable to "ADRIAN O'SULLIVAN" (my name).
- PCode. Please remember to write your 15-digit project code number (PCode) on the reverse of your money order or draft. [Learn more about PCodes]
- Currency. I cannot accept offline payment in any currency other than US Dollars (USD) or Canadian Dollars (CAD). This means I do not accept offline payment in Sterling, Euros, Yen, or any other currency.
- Methods not accepted. I do not accept offline electronic bank transfers, personal or corporate cheques, Eurocheques, traveller's cheques, postal cheques, postal money orders, or cash.
- Never send cash! Please do not send me cash. I accept no responsibility whatsoever for cash sent to me (illegally) by snailmail. (Yes, it is illegal to send cash by mail).
- Mailing instructions. Please follow the mailing instructions you received by email together with your unique project code (PCode) number. [Learn more about PCodes]. I recommend using registered first class (air) mail or a trackable major courier service (UPS, FedEx, Purolator, or DHL) for safe delivery of offline payments.
Delays. I must caution you that selecting an offline (snailmail) payment method may cause significant delay to your web project, depending on where you live.
Under normal circumstances it takes at least 25 days for offline payments to clear my bank. I will not begin work on your project or release the final product until your payment (deposit or balance) has been cleared and deposited to my account.
In other words, bank policy may lead to significant delays in processing your project. Just do the math! 25 days to clear your deposit + 25 days to clear your balance payment + 2 X 10 days for air mail delivery = 10 weeks! And to this you must add the processing time itself!
By contrast, the average online transaction takes only a few minutes. You can see why I strongly recommend the online payment method.
