The first step towards getting your document(s) translated is to establish email contact with me at translations@muttersprachler.com and tell me all about your translation project(s). Be sure to include the following information:
- Personal details. (Name, Organization, Position, Email address, Postal address, Country of residence).
- Type of German-language document(s) you wish to have translated. (Is it/are they HTML text already available on the World Wide Web? Is it/are they unpublished HTML text? Or is it/are they plain text?).
- Approximate number of words that require translating. (Minimum count = 500 words).
- Intragraphic words. (It's possible that some of your words do not appear in your text, but are buried within graphics. Do you wish me to include such "intragraphic" words in my word count?).
When that is done, I will email you my firm quotation, together with your unique 15-digit project code (PCode). [Learn more about PCodes]
At that point you can decide whether you wish me to proceed with the translation of your text into correct clear English. If so, then you will find all the necessary instructions on how to make your initial (deposit) payment in the quotation email I have sent you.
If you find any of these instructions confusing, please don't hesitate to send me a simple cry for help at translations@muttersprachler.com. I will happily walk you through the process.
When I have received your approximate word count, I will carry out my own definitive final count, and (before starting any work) I will tell you if my word count is different from yours. In such cases, the cost of my services will be based on my final word count, not yours.
I will not begin translating your document(s) until I have sent you my final word count, together with my firm quotation, and your unique 15-digit project code (PCode), and have received 50% of my total fee from you as a deposit. [Learn more about PCodes]
